October-April

In collaboration with the school boards and a number of disability services organizations, SNAP offers 1:1 facilitated instruction in physical activity contexts one morning a week between October and April to an average of 1600 school-aged children per academic year. The children participate in activities that develop their gross motor and fine motor repertoires, as well as their fitness and conditioning levels.Thursday SNAP is done in collaboration with the schools and with the Children’s Autism Program; parents can also opt to bring their children if the school is not able to be involved .
