A developmentally appropriate movement education – based embedded curriculum in a Least Restrictive environment offered to teens and transition age youth (TAY) experiencing disability in the Niagara region.
Saturday SNAP is a community service-learning initiative that has been running since the 2010 academic year. Saturday SNAP offers 1:1 facilitated instruction in physical activity contexts. The Saturday SNAPers participate in activities that develop their gross motor and fine motor repertoires, as well as their fitness and conditioning levels in the gym. It also operates as a site for research as well as service learning and pedagogy
