SNAP Programs

SNAP (Supporting Neurodiversity through Adaptive Programming) is an inclusive physical activity program based at Brock University that provides children and youth with disabilities and diverse abilities opportunities to participate in meaningful, developmentally appropriate movement and physical activity. Originating in Niagara more than 30 years ago, SNAP uses individualized and adapted approaches to create positive experiences where participants can develop physical skills, confidence, independence and a sense of belonging. The program also provides Brock students with valuable hands-on experience in inclusive and adapted physical activity, helping build future leaders who understand how to create accessible and welcoming sport and recreation environments.
